Texas Sexual Health Welcomes Dr. Cara Hartoon, Pelvic Floor Specialist Extraordinaire!
We are delighted to welcome Dr. Cara Hartoon, DPT, Pelvic Floor Specialist, to Texas Sexual Health! Dr. Hartoon is a physical therapist and has been in practice for well over a decade. She is available for appointments, preventative care, medical care as well as ongoing patient care. Dr. Hartoon is passionate about sexual health and has been a partner of Texas Sexual Health and a valuable asset in the treatment of male sexual concerns. Her areas of treatment are:

Sexual Function Post Prostatectomy
Orchalgia (Testicular Pain)

Her education includes her BS in Clinical Exercise Science from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2006, and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2010. She is a licensed physical therapist, ACSM certified exercise physiologist, registered yoga teacher, and group exercise instructor. Continuing education includes work through the Barral Institute, Herman and Wallace, American Physical Therapy Association, the Integrative Dry Needling Institute, and Yoga Alliance affiliates, among others.
Dr. Hartoon will continue to serve her patients in Plano and will be seeing patients at Texas Sexual Health in Irving. Once patients go through the initial assessment, Dr. T and Dr. Hartoon will discuss the appropriate intervention and further treatment options.
The pelvic floor structure is the foundation of sexual function.
